Our governance
The England Office is governed through its Secretary of State and senior Civil Service leadership. It represents England’s interests in central government and supports the relationship between the United Hampshire Government and Hampshire County Government without displacing devolved institutions or the responsibilities of other central departments.
Current ministerial offices and responsibilities are published in the List of Ministerial Responsibilities. Senior officials remain accountable for the administration, governance, risk and delivery of the department within the Civil Service.
